Jurgen begon zijn carrière in 2015 en maakt sinds de oprichting deel uit van Florent. Hij is senior associate in de Restructuring & Insolvency praktijk.  

Expertise 

Jurgen is gespecialiseerd in insolventierecht en grensoverschrijdende asset recovery. Hij wordt regelmatig door de rechtbank aangesteld als curator. Jurgen adviseert en procedeert ook over insolventierecht, zekerheidsrechten en commerciële contracten. Daarnaast heeft hij ervaring met de tenuitvoerlegging van vonnissen (zowel in het buitenland als in eigen land) en procedures over de openbaarmaking van documenten.

Jurgen spreekt Nederlands en Engels. Hij is namens Nederland lid van FraudNet Future, het netwerk van de Internationale Kamer van Koophandel (ICC) dat benadeelde partijen vertegenwoordigt als gevolg van (internationale) commerciële fraude. Hij behaalde zijn postdoctorale graad (Grotius) in het insolventierecht en is lid van INSOLAD, de Nederlandse vereniging van insolventierecht advocaten. Jurgen schrijft regelmatig over onderwerpen die betrekking hebben op of gerelateerd zijn aan het insolventierecht. Hij is redactielid van het Tijdschrift voor Curatoren en auteur van het tijdschrift Rechtspraak Insolventierecht.
