Hanneke begon haar carrière in 2002 en is één van de oprichters van Florent. Zij wordt regelmatig door de Rechtbank Amsterdam aangesteld als bewindvoerder en curator in omvangrijke surseances van betaling en faillissementen en doet enquêteonderzoeken voor de Ondernemingskamer. Tot haar cliënten behoren aandeelhouders en investeerders, ondernemingen, bestuurders, toezichthouders en (groepen van) schuldeisers.

Zij is gespecialiseerd op het gebied van ondernemingen in financiële moeilijkheden en adviseert en procedeert over (internationaal) insolventierecht, financiering, zekerheden en bestuurdersaansprakelijkheid, met ruime ervaring in complexe herstructureringen.

Hanneke zit in het bestuur van de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Vergelijkend en Internationaal Insolventierecht (NVRII), is lid van INSOLAD, de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Herstructurering, INSOL International, INSOL Europe, en is verbonden aan de Stichting Rimari. Ze is één van de auteurs van het Nederlandse hoofdstuk van ‘Chambers Global Practice Guide on Insolvency 2023.
