About
us

We are Florent, an independent Dutch corporate law firm located in the heart of Amsterdam’s financial district, the Zuidas. Our firm was founded in 2017 and we have grown to around 50 lawyers over the past years. Our lawyers are either homegrown or have worked for leading national and/or international law firms before joining Florent.

No-nonsense culture

We are internationally recognized as leading individuals in our fields. We combine high standards with our no-nonsense culture and our inclusive working environment.

The inspiration for our firm’s name stems from the iconic restaurant “Florent” in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan, New York. During the 80ties and the 90ties Florent was New York’s hottest downtown eating spot. The graphic design for the restaurant is now on display in the MoMA.

“FOUNDED IN 2017
AND GROWN TO AROUND
50 LAWYERS”

Our firm continues this positive vibe, which is also reflected in our extra-large and frequently used rooftop terrace overlooking the financial district of our hometown Amsterdam and our extensive art collection.
